Yes! Studies have shown that ultrasounds are safe for you and baby. 

The best time is between 26-34 weeks of pregnancy. The further along you are the more difficult it can be because of the baby's size. PLEASE NOTE - if you have an anterior placenta, we recommend coming before 30 weeks of pregnancy.

Moms with multiples - We recommend 24-30 weeks of pregnancy.

The appointment will take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. Each package varies in appointment time and each package states how long of scanning time you will have.

The gender of your baby can be determined as early as 6 weeks with a blood test or 14 weeks with an ultrasound (twins or patients with a higher BMI need to come in at 16 weeks).

  Of course! As long as they are able to sit alone, otherwise they need to be accompanied by another adult.

  You can bring up to 5 people with you as we have enough seating for this amount in the room.

  We go by appointment only, but you may call and see if we have any last minute openings or if we are able to squeeze you in!

 1st Trimester AND Gender Appointments 

• MUST come with a full bladder. We will let you know if it may need to be emptied or not upon arrival.

3D/4D Appointments

• MUST drink plenty of water the week leading up to the appointment and the day of to help aid in getting clearer images of baby.

• SHOULD, if they can, have something sugary or caffeinated 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. This will help get baby active to help us achieve better/more photos of baby.

• Bring a cold drink! This can help encourage baby to move for better images.

  We do 3D’s as early as 8 weeks! If you want to see baby’s facial features we suggest you be at least 26 weeks.

 We do ultrasounds as early as 5 weeks! (5 weeks you may be able to see yolk sac depending on the baby’s position)

 Please Note - We may not see anything at all this early. It sometimes takes time to become clearly visible on an abdominal ultrasound.

 Please show up at least 5 minutes before your appointment time. We like to make sure we are mindful of our time to ensure we do not run behind for other patients.

  Please call us ahead of time to make sure we will still be able to see you for your appointment. Typically, we will have to reschedule you if you are more than 5 minutes late so that we do not run behind on our appointments. We may be able to see you if we have any openings after your scheduled appointment time, so please just give us a call! If we must reschedule you, it will be a $25 charge that will be added to your account to use at your next appointment.

 We do not accept insurance. These are elective ultrasounds that are out of pocket only. We accept apple pay, cash, and card.

 Unfortunately, this sometimes happens. In a case that your baby doesn’t cooperate, depending on the package you choose, we will bring you back for 1 free rescan to try again as a courtesy. We encourage you to TRY everything in your power to get baby moving. Feel free to reach out to your provider with suggestions on how to get baby to move into a different position. If your baby still does not cooperate, we will still try to get the best pictures possible that your baby allows! They have a mind of their own and unfortunately, we can’t always make them do what we want.
